Confirmation

Confirmation is a Sacrament of Initiation that has an intimate relationship to Baptism and the Eucharist. Sacramental preparation for teens is offered to those teens wishing to be Confirmed who have completed 7th grade and 8th grade Faith Formation classes through the parish Faith Formation program or the Catholic Schools.  Preparation for Confirmation requires the participation of the teens as well as the parents. 

Parent Meeting Sunday November 11, 2012 at 12 pm to 1:30 pm in the Education Building Room 5. 

This meeting is for parents of those preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the 12:30 pm Mass.

It is our parish custom to begin immediate preparation for Confirmation of teens who are in the 9th grade or older after they have completed 2 years of remote preparation by attending Faith Formation classes either in the parish programs or in a Catholic school.  All eligible and interested teens prepare for Confirmation together.  Immediate preparation for Confirmation is separate from any other Faith Formation the teens are receiving whether in the parish programs or Catholic schools.
