Introducting the Living Eucharist
Introducing Bishop Lynch’s Supplement to his 2007 Pastoral Letter
Living Eucharist: Gathered, Nourished, Sent
The Diocese of St. Petersburg is excited to announce that Bishop Robert Lynch has issued a Supplement to his 2007 Pastoral Letter, Living Eucharist: Gathered, Nourished, Sent. The purpose of this supplement is to focus on and unpack what it means for us as Catholics, a Eucharistic community of believers, to be "sent" into the world. Rooted in our baptism, nourished by the Word of God, and transformed by His Body and Blood we are sent to bring the Good News to all those we encounter. Copies of this supplement in English and Spanish are available for downloading and printing on this website. Included with the Supplement are discussion questions for reflection and faith sharing. Please commit your time this Lenten season to study this document. It serves as a basis for the upcoming Living Eucharist conference which is scheduled for Friday, April 30th TO READ BISHOP LYNCH'S LETTER INTRODUCING THE SUPPLEMENT TO HIS PASTORAL LETTER PLEASE

Living Eucharist Prayer
Loving God, true source of inspiration and hope, bless us on our pilgrimage of faith as the Diocesan family of St Petersburg. Deepen our love and commitment to Your Son Jesus Christ in whose mission we share. May we continue to be nourished by His Word and transformed by the gift of His Body and Blood in the Eucharist. Let Christ's presence shine through our lives and by the power of the Holy Spirit send us into the world as instruments of mercy and justice. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
Mary, Mother of Church, pray with us and for us.

Traditionally, the Joyful Mysteries are prayed on Monday and Saturday, the Sorrowful Mysteries on Tuesday and Friday and the Glorious Mysteries on Wednesday and Sundays. The Luminous Mysteries, introduced by Pope Jon Paul !! in 2002, are prayed on Thursdays.
