Sacraments

Marriage

The parish marriage program of preparation presents the beauty and dignity of marriage as a life-long covenant according to the teaching for Christ and the Church. At least a six-month notice must be given to allow adequate preparation for this beautiful gift of God's love.

To arrange an appointment, please call Roxanne Signorini at the Parish Office 727-595-4610.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a Sacrament of Initiation that has an intimate relationship to Baptism and the Eucharist. Sacramental preparation sessions for teens preparing to be confirmed and their parents are held on Monday nights from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on Sunday May 23, 2010 at the 12:30 PM Mass.

For complete information, please call Tammie Gildea at the Faith Formation Office 727-595-3100 x 331

Holy Communion

Holy Communion is the Sacrament of initiation in which we receive the real presence of Jesus and enter into an 'intimate communion with God and with our brothers and sisters'.

First Holy Communion is always a parish celebration and takes place on the first two Sundays of May at various Masses.

Reconciliation

Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession), we recognize and celebrate the love and forgiveness of Jesus and the peace that He brings.

Confessions are heard each Saturday from 3:00-4:00 and 5:00-5:30 PM.

During Advent and Lent, a Parish Reconciliation Service is held to celebrate this Sacrament in a communal setting. Individual confessions may also be arranged by appointment. Contact the Parish office for more information 727-595-4610.
