History of the Parish

St. Jerome 50th Anniversary Parish Directory History

Written and compiled by Jeff Signorini

St. Jerome, as a bright but worldly young man, had a dream that transformed his life: as he stood before the judgment seat of God and announced himself as a Christian, God accused him of having a greater commitment to secular learning than to the ways of holiness. Upon awakening, St. Jerome resolved to dedicate his life to the study and understanding of Sacred Scripture. With a similar tenacity and commitment to the service of God, the parish family of St. Jerome has transformed a tiny mission church into a beacon of faith for Catholics far beyond its parish boundaries. And, in a fashion strongly reminiscent of its namesake, St. Jerome Church perseveres in its quest to be a guiding light for generations to come.

Parish Finance Council

This Council is comprised of parishioners selected by the Pastor to assist in the administration of the goods-of-the-parish. Members are knowledgeable in business management, planning and budgeting. The Parish Finance Council also promotes the Gospel of Stewardship in the parish.

Grounds Committee

The St Jerome Grounds Committee maintains the entire St Jerome campus. Grounds maintenance is vigorous labor, not a gardening club. They service the parish by raking, pruning, fallen limb cleanup, sweeping and weeding.

Fr. Sean O'Sullivan's Shrine of Eternal Life prayer garden gets their special focus and requires weekly attention. We welcome you to join this committee.
