Knights of Columbus

The Parish’s, Knights of Columbus Council # 17249 “Divine Mercy of Jesus” was established, June 2019.
Our Knights Mission is to provide aid and volunteer manpower support, to the many ministries within our Parish of St. Jerome’s. These ministries, under the guidance from our Pastor Fr. Tom Morgan, with assistance of all the Clergy staff and Lay Directors, strives to enhance the Catholic community of our Congregation in Faith, Charity and Fellowship. We extend our welcome to all practicing Catholic men in the Parish of St Jerome’s to join our growing Council. You will be part of worldwide Catholic brotherhood of Knights, which has contributed too many Parishes for over 100 years. In this fellowship we pray to Our Lord with the rosary, given to us when we became a Knight. This greatly increases the spirituality of all involved; rendering charitable help when asked; aiding the ill and infirm as Christ expects us to. The KoC continues as it started out, to provide insurance products and annuities which benefit members and their families.

Presently we are meeting on the first and second Wednesdays of each month. At the first Wednesday night’s meeting, we will have a 30 minute officers' meeting after which we will meet with all interested parties to share in our faith journey, pray, and learn how to increase the signs of the Holy Spirit’s presence within us.

During the second Wednesday of the month we will have our regular general business meeting, we encourage all current and visiting Knights to attend this meeting. We learn what the various needs of our parish and community are, in order to fulfill Jesus’ commands: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
