 I  want  to  become  Catholic

I'm  an  adult  and  need confirmation
I'm in high school and need confirmation
High school — complete Sacraments of Initiation
I  want to sponsor someone in OCIA
I’m Catholic and I want to learn more about my faith

Schedule & Location — Weekly sessions in the education building for adults on Thursday at 6:00 PM and for high schoolers on Sunday at 3:30 PM during the liturgical year (with breaks around parts of summer and holidays). Adults also participate at the 10:45 AM Sunday Mass with dismissal to reflect on the Word.  Start anytime. If you can’t make these scheduled meetings, let’s talk through alternatives.
Becoming Catholic (OCIA Overview)
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a welcoming, year‑round journey to explore the Catholic faith and prepare for the Sacraments. In a warm, small‑group setting, we share Scripture, prayer, and teaching, and we walk with you through the rites and immediate preparation for Baptism/Reception into the Church, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

Adult Confirmation (Baptized Catholic)
If you are a baptized Catholic who has already received First Holy Communion and actively practices the faith, OCIA provides a focused track of formation leading to the Sacrament of Confirmation. You’ll receive the catechesis you need, participate in key rites as appropriate, and be scheduled for the next available parish/diocesan celebration.

High School Confirmation (Baptized Catholic)
High school students who are baptized Catholics and have received First Communion can prepare for Confirmation within OCIA. Your preparation includes weekly formation, participation at Sunday Mass, and preparation for the Sacrament.

High School — Completing the Sacraments of Initiation
If you are not yet baptized or you were baptized in another Christian tradition, OCIA provides a path toward full initiation into the Catholic Church. We’ll honor your journey, provide personalized preparation, and help you (and your family) take the next steps at the right time.

Becoming a Sponsor
Sponsors accompany candidates and catechumens in faith — praying with them, attending sessions and rites, and offering encouragement.

Audit OCIA Sessions
Are you a Catholic in full communion with the Church but it has just been a long time since you've learned what the Church teaches and why? All are welcome to attend OCIA sessions, ask questions, and walk the journey together with our candidates and catechumens.
