WE REMEMBER...WE CELEBRATE...WE BELIEVE!
Jim and Cheryl Cullinan
Jim and I returned from our trip to Israel on March 11th. On March 13th, I was being tested for the virus. I was then hospitalized on March 18th and 19th only to return to the hospital again through the 26-31. Jim was able to be tested due to me being in the hospital, though he only had slight symptoms. My hospital test resulted in being diagnosed wit Covid, bilateral pneumonia and acute respiratory failure. Even though the virus has left me with struggles, we are both very thankful for our recoveries. We have donated plasma and both have antibodies. We continue to Thank God for our continued healing.
To Jesus through Mary
Blessings, Cheryl and Jim Cullinan

My Uncle Tony will always be remembered for his caring & lighthearted demeanor. Please continue to pray for his beloved wife, my Aunt Diane.
Deacon Fred and Lisa Kunder -
recovered and now well.
Lisa and I came down with COVID-19 after I came back from a trip to Israel. My daughter and I came back and gave it to her fiancé and Lisa. After 2 weeks, we recovered and later tested negative for the virus. I have been donating plasma and have been tested for the antibodies, and, as of Saturday, March 11, I still tested positive for the presence
of the antibodies.
We are grateful that we were able to recover so well as I have a heart condition and Lisa has Rheumatoid Arthritis. Praise God for his Mercy, in our case we survived and recovered.

Sam Reck and JoAnn Hooper-Reck
- mother to Scott Hooper (Our IT guy)
They were known to people in their Nursing facility as "Romeo and Juliet" because of social distancing taking place which kept them apart. JoAnn suffered from dementia, which the Covid -19 precautions made worse. Regardless of the precautions, she contacted the Corona virus and died on 7/12/2020.
Her husband Sam, donning protective gear was by her side in her last hours, and was able to say goodbye. Unfortunately, Sam contacted the Corona virus days later, and passed on 8/1/2020.
Their family and friends are comforted in the knowledge that they are together once again, with our Heavenly Father.

Parishioners Bill and Sheila Spires
Bill and Sheila Spires accompanied the Pilgrimage from St. Jerome Catholic Church to Israel and the Holy Land this past March 2-12, 2020, under the guidance of Father Rob Cadrecha and Deacon Fred Kunder. They are not sure if they contracted the Coronavirus in Israel during the trip as others suspicioned or while at the bedside of Bill’s Sister, Mary Spires Brown, as she passed away on March 14th in Columbus, Ohio.
Both Bill and his wife, Sheila, contracted the disease and experienced their own personal battles through this nightmare of Covid 19. Since their recovery they have given through OneBlood of Pinellas County five (5) Convelescent Plasma donations in which they have the Antibodies to fight off this terrible disease. Each donation has been sent to a critically ill patient in need of a life giving donation to aid in their own personal battles and recoveries. Both Bill and Sheila have felt this was the least they could do and will continue to do in thanksgiving to Our Heavenly Father for His healing hand upon their own lives from this deadly “killer”.
